On the evening of February 17 local time, Chinese Vice President Xi Jinping left Los Angeles for Ireland, wrapping up his official five-day visit to the Unites States.

Xi visited Washington DC, the state of Iowa and Los Angeles during the trip. He met with U.S. President Barack Obama and held talks with U.S. Vice President Biden. He also participated in a number of trade and economic events and had wide-ranging contacts with the American people from all walks of life.

The United States is the first leg of Xi's three-nation tour which will also take him to Ireland and Turkey.
