On March 30th , Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Croatia, H. E. Mr Hu Zhaoming, met with Head of the Office of Croatian Prime Minister, Mr Zvonimir Frka-Petešić and invited Croatia to participate in the China International Import Expo.
H.E. Ambassador Hu Zhaoming said that Chinese Government attaches great importance to the first International Import Expo. This is China's big initiative to open its market to the world and practical action to support the economic globalization and trade liberalization. Ambassador Hu Zhaoming expressed his hope that all walks of life in Croatia, including the business circle, would grasp this opportunity, actively participate in the Import Expo, present Croatian high quality products to the big market of China and at the same time explore the possible areas and ways for cooperation.
Mr Zvonimir Frka-Petešić said that Croatia has a positive attitude towards participation in the Import Expo and the Office of the Prime Minister will urge Croatian Chamber of Economy and other relevant institutes to continue to intensify investment attraction and encourage more Croatian companies to participate in the Import Expo.
