On March 1st, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Croatia, H.E. Mr. Hu Zhaoming, met with President of the Committee for Foreign Policy of the Croatian Parliament Mr Miro Kovač.
H.E. Ambassador Hu Zhaoming positively appraised the efforts of Croatian Parliament and the Committee for Foreign Policy in promoting China-Croatia relations, pointed out that from the beginning of this year China-Croatia relations showed positive trend of accelerated development, expressing his hope that the two parliaments, including the Committees for Foreign Policy, would strengthen communication and cooperation and promote China-Croatia relations, especially pragmatic cooperation, to achieve more fruits.
Mr Miro Kovač said that the Croatian Parliament and the Committee for the Foreign Policy are willing to keep close cooperation with the National People's Congress of China, promote communication and cooperation between the two parliaments and make new contributions to the development of the China-Croatia relations.
The two sides also exchanged their views on the plan of exchanges between the two parliaments in 2018 and other topics.
