To ensure the safety of international travel and reduce the risk of cross-border spread of COVID-19, in accordance with the Joint Announcement of the Civil Aviation Administration, the General Administration of Customs and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, starting from September 7, 2020, all passengers taking flights bound for China from Croatian airports (including passengers from other countries bound for China by way of Croatian airports) are required to take COVID-19 nucleic acid tests within 3 days before boarding, and only those with negative test results verified by the Chinese Embassy will be allowed to board the plane. The specific procedures are for your reference:

1. COVID-19 nucleic acid tests must be taken at institutions designated or recognized by Chinese Embassy in Croatia (please see the Attachment 1)

2. A Chinese passenger is required to declare the negative test result through WeChat Health Code App B1 Entrance once it is issued (no later than 24 hours before boarding). The Chinese Embassy will examine the result and issue a green colored Health Code with an "HS" mark. Passenger shall be required to present the green code to the airlines and travel to China within its validity.

3. Once the negative test result is issued (no later than 24 hours before boarding), a foreign passenger shall fill in and sign the Health Declaration Form (please see the Attachment 2) and send a scanned copy of the signed Form, together with the nucleic acid test report (with negative result), and a photocopy of the bio-page of the passport to the Chinese Embassy at the following email addresses: pcrtest.hrv@gmail.com.

The Chinese Embassy will examine the result, stamp the Health Declaration Form and send it back to the passenger via email. Passenger shall be required to print out and present the stamped Health Declaration Form to the airlines and travel to China within its validity. To speed up the process, please use "HS+Passenger name+Date of Departure" as subject line of your email, e.g. "HS+Ivan Ćorić +Sep 12, 2020".

4. Both the green health code with an "HS" mark and the certified Health Declaration Form are valid through three days from the issuance of the nucleic acid test report. Please be noted that passenger with expired health code or Health Declaration Form will not be allowed to board the plane and will be required to take nucleic acid test, and apply for the health code or Health Declaration Form again.
