Member of Politic Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, Deputy Head of Central Leadership Group on Party Building H.E.Mr. Zhang Chunxian Visited Croatia

From April 8th to 11th, upon the invitation of Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ), Member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, deputy head of Central Leadership Group on Party Building, H.E.Mr. Zhang Chunxian led CPC delegation visiting Croatia. During his visit, H.E.Mr. Zhang Chunxian met with Prime Minister of Croatia, President of HDZ Mr. Andrej Plenkovic and General Secretary of HDZ Mr. Gordan Jandrokovic. Both sides exchanged views and reached consensus on deepening bilateral cooperation in area of politics, economics and trade and culture, push forward the synergy between "Belt and Road" initiative and "Three Seas" strategy and strengthening the communication between CPC and HDZ. It was agreed to take the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Croatia an opportunity to bring the bilateral relations to new height.
H.E.Mr. Zhang Chunxian also visited Dubrovnik-Neretva County and communicated with the Prefect Dubrovnik-Neretva County Mr. Nikola Doroslavic on strengthening cooperation on regional level and in area of tourism, including opening direct flight.
H.E. Mr. Hu Zhaoming, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Croatia, accompanied the delegation and attended related events.
