On March 30th, H.E. Mr. Hu Zhaoming, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China paid a visit to Dubrovnik-Neretva County and called on Mr. Nikola Dobroslavic, the Prefect of Dubrovnik-Neretva County.
Ambassador Hu said he was pleased to visit Dubrovnik-Neretva County soon after his assumption of the new post. This year marks the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Croatia and the bilateral relation is facing new opportunity. Chinese side would like to work together with Croatian side, through better utilizing the platforms such as "One Belt and One Road" construction and the channel of cooperation on local level, to further promote bilateral relations and bring more benefits to the people of the two countries. Dubrovnik-Neretva County is rich in tourism resources and is well known in China. It is believed that more Chinese will visit Dubrovnik-Neretva County and seek new opportunity for investment and cooperation.
Mr. Nikola Dobroslavic, the Prefect of Dubrovnik-Neretva County introduced the facts of the County to Ambassador Hu, expressing the eagerness to strengthen the cooperation with China in the areas like economic and trade, tourism, especially to establish direct flight between the two countries. Also he expressed the readiness to promote the cooperation of both sides to a new level through "One Belt and One Road" platform.
During his visit to Dubrovnik-Neretva County, Ambassador Hu also met with Ms. Josita Begović, the president of the County Court of Dubrovnik-Neretva Region.
